i'm not sure that the cl ss 220 will be able to handle the bioload i plan on throwing at it. i have been looking at them infact i have a cl 120? venturi and i did like it but it was on the 75. it was a little difficult to get it to run consistantly.

i dont see how else i would be able to get the turn over out of this tank, without having 10 powerheads. if the main pump were shut off the overflow would drain to the sump outlet and if it were higher in the overflow box than the cl intake, the cl would just recycle the water in the overflow...

if i put the cl intake lower than the sump intake it would not.

my tank only has 1 corner overflow and i would like to run a closed loop system. the tank has a 2" and a 1" holes drilled which i would want to use for the sump/fuge. would it be possible to have the intake on the closed loop inside the overflow box itself? i dont see why it wouldnt work unless...
