    Sun Coral 911

I put mine right out in front of my rock work. Lights have no effect on the coral at all. It was to much work to feed the thing in a cave or shaded from the light. I feed mine mysis every night, its been doing nicely.

I have been feeding my sun frozen mysis shrimp. I can only feed the bigger poylps with this stuff. Is there any good way to feed the much smaller ones on the bottom? Also anyone know why my fish will not eat mysis? He would rather eat flakes than the shrimps.

    Coral Dying?

^ I understand it can take some time for them to fully adjust. Within 3 hours of my placing the coral in my tank the coral was fully extended. 3-4 days later I am not seeing any extension in 1 and only partial in another. I am going to cut back to 10 hours of light per day but other than that...

    Coral Dying?

Before I head out to the LFS to see whats happening with my new frags of GSP I would like to seek some assistance. Last friday I bought 2 small frags of GSP. One was a very bright green and the other was a dull green. I put them in my tank and within 2-3 hours they were both fully extended and...

The fish doesn't rub against the wall or anything and when I saw him at the fish store he was just swimming along. How can I make sure this isn't ich?Do I need to just give him more time...

    Coral Help

They kind of told me what it was called. I buy low light frags from the same tank. Normally they are already attached to a small rock when I buy them. Truth be told I dont know many of the corals in my tank. I know general characteristics but nothing specific.

    Surface Skimmer

I bought a little surface skimmer to get some of the junk out from the top of the tank. I attached it to my pengiun 170. Whenever it takes water from the surface it does not let the bio wheel spin. How important is the spinning on this wheel? I have live rock and live sand that should also...

    Feeding

I have a cardinal that is between 3-4 inches. I went in the backyard and found an earth worm and throw it in the aquarium. The fish had the worm in his mouth before it was 3 inches below the surface. Is there any reason this shouldn't be done? I made sure no dirt was on the outside of the...

Engineer Gobies are the coolest fish to watch! What other fish are like them?

I was afraid of that. When I bought him/her at the fish store they were constantly swimming. Granted they had about 15-20 in less than 10 gallons. I thought they would do it in my aquarium as well but he went underground. How in the world did you manage to catch yours? I cant imagine...
