I'll try to get pics tomorrow, hard to say if fluid filled or not , they are the same coloration of their skin markings, but like small blisters? Can I ,or should I gently hold them in the water to get pics? Oh, & thanks so much for the quick replies!!!

I got 3 erectus seahorses yesterday from my LFS. 2 females & 1 male. They are all eating & acting fine & are very healthy looking. But on the male & 1 female are small bumps on the underside of their tails where they hook onto things. Are these parasites, or something else? They look so healthy...

When it starts they will drop, they hang on for a couple of days, so you can cut them off easily. Mine is actually mounted sideways in the rocks & it hangs over the sand. If it gets any bigger I'll have to sell or trade it off!

I believe mine started around 8-10 inches, and yes it will start once it reaches a certain size. And no problem, love to give info. when I can, usually its myself that needs it! I'll get a pic of mine on over this weekend, to show you what they look like dropping off.

The lighting is 520 watt power compact in my 75 gal. tank. I had it up high in low flow, just earlier I put it on the sand & in med. flow. Hopefully this will help it.???

You could also try a six line wrasse. Since I got one my bristle worms have greatly decreased. And I know this is not normal, but my mandarin also eats the small ones. :yes: :happyfish
