Like Crzy said, just ride it out and give it some time. If is diatoms, they will go away in time. I would give your tank a few weeks to cycle, and I would then add a clean up crew. They would quickly clean up the diatoms. Patients is the key at this point.. :D

You need to be careful when it comes to adding another clown. They are very teritorial fish. In other threads that i have read other posts that suggest that you add clowns at the same time into their new enviroment. If you add another clown now, be sure to monitor them closely. I have...

Anybody out there in the SLC Ut. area that would like to trade for some Yellow Star Polyups. There are approximately 20 of them and range from new sprouts to large Polyups. I am interested in a piece of Frogspawn, although something else just might catch my eye. You can see photos at the link...

I'm fairly certain that they are not mini brittle's. They do not have a center, and the tenticles are very small. Even smaller than a piece of thread???:confused:

Right, but explain favoralble water conditions. Is there more to it than just the normal, Amonia, Nitrate, Nitrite, Ph??? I assume that is a given.:yes: Do I need to add Calcium and watch Alkilinity???:notsure: Anything else...:happyfish

I got a few hitch hikers on some live rock. Sorry I dont have a photo now but let me give you an explnation. It appears to be some small invert that lives within the LR. It has 6-8 small thread like tentacles that are yellow and black on color. It will come out of the rock, mostly at feeding...

If I am reading your post right, your tank has been set up for only three weeks? :notsure: If so, I dont think your tank has completed its origional cycle.. If you just added corals and fish in such a new setup you could be in jepordy of losing your stock... The alge you speak of might be...
