    Free in Indy

I have decided I am way to busy to keep up with my tank the way I should. So I am going to take my tank down and save it for later. But that leaves all of my live stock and live rock. I have a royal gramma, 6 line wrasse, about 60 lbs of live rock, 1 peppermint shrimp, about 8 turbo snails, 5...

    hydor koralia 3

It will be the only pump in a 37. The only other real thing for water movement will be my return with isnt pushing much and the overflow. Is the koralia 3 too much, too little or just right? By the way it is a fish only, no corals

    finishing a basement

i used a little of the paint stripper last night. it actually worked pretty well in the spots where there was a lot of it, and it also took a while to dry. But after that the paint came off pretty well. since it doesnt have to be perfect, I think this is going to work fine. Thanks again jacob

    finishing a basement

right now it gets water, but we are going to dig a trench on both sides of the house to increase the drainage. So it should be pretty dry after that, the DryLok would just be to prevent a little moisture from getting in to ruin the paint that we are going to use. Im going to Lowes after I get...

    finishing a basement

We've been trying to clean up our basement. We are going to dig a trench outside to keep water from getting into the basement. Then we are going to DryLok the basement walls. But our walls are currently painted right now, and DryLok says their stuff cant go on painted walls. I am running...

aqua C Urchin Pro skimmer, which pump?

you make a really good point about such a small load, and my algae problem is significant. I am still going to get the skimmer, but I think I might get a phophate reactor also. What about the viaAqua Poly-reactor? it is $35 and it comes with a pump. It has great ratings from the place I...

aqua C Urchin Pro skimmer, which pump?

right now I am running a prizm skimmer. Its about 6 years old, but still pulls out crap. I also have a sump with about a softball size a chaeto. I was going to get the new skimmer before I added more fish. By the way, I do feed every other day.

aqua C Urchin Pro skimmer, which pump?

I am going to finally get a new skimmer and I think I am going to get an Urchin Pro, but it is offered with 2 different pumps, the rio 1400 and the mag 350. The one with the mag is $20 more expensive, is it worth it? This skimmer is probably way overkill for my tank, but I am so sick of hair...

    Sixline and Royal Gramma?

I only have 2 fish right now, a 6 line and a royal gramma. They dont seem to bother each other at all. In fact they almost seem like friends. That is unless they both go for the same piece of food, then they just have a quick stare down and thats it. I think youll be fine, they both seem...

    need ideas for live rock!

i think it somewhat depends on your fish selection..... There are 2 major ideas that I have tried, one is to make like a wall, the other is to make piles. Both look nice, just depends on what you have and what you like. If you have fish that will like to hover around the sand then you might...

    Bubble Algae

forgot to mention that I have heard of red bubble algae, though it seems to be less common. But I would bet against bubble algae from your description. Does it look like carpet with little air bubbles in it? = cyano or does it just look like bubbles by themselves? = bubble. Figure out what...
