Wow. So you are saying that if your were to dig 1 foot down you would still be finding crushed coral? No. Crushed coral is only in the upper layer. Thats not the important part. Its the sand beneath it that does all the work. In a reef tank we are trying to emulate the reef as much as possible...

Anyone else out there have other opinions. Also lion does stop parasite treat as much water as the kick ich, and how do you treat a tank with stop parasite. Also he has been using melafix for the time being, will it be ok to just add the stop parasite or kick ich which ever one he chooses.

My tank did this when I first got liverock. Then I started using additives and bacteria products and my coraline took off and my tank is doing extremely well. So my question is did you recently purchase liverock or livesand lately?

I would do 75 shipped to florida, that is all i can afford.
