    fish identity and advice

    a five gallon tank is really only good for invertes, too small for fish, no matter how small it may look. it might make a cool mantis shrimp tank though, if u want to go that route.

    how to feed frozen?

    i use a little cup, like the ones that come with medicine, and put some water from the tank in it. i then put the cube of frozen food in the cup and let it melt. once its melted u can just pour it in the tank

    i really enjoy my flame hawkfish, great personality, but idk what kinda of invertebrates you have in your tank. if you have any types of shrimps, they could become a nice snack for him!

    i also have a leopard wrasse and about 15 hermits in a 29 gallon. i dont think he even knows the hermit crabs exist.

    i have a flame hawkfish in a 29 gallon. im fairly confident he will take out any other fish i put in the tank, since he killed a yellow-tailed damsel that had been in my tank since i started it. i would never consider another bottom dwelling fish. btw, here is the chart u were talkin about

    idk about them being bad, i have had hundreds of them in my tank with no damage to my corals (capnella and zoas). i have had zero problem with these guys, they just sit in crevices in rocks and filter feed.

    my tube anemone has always just eaten some extra flake that has floated into its tenticles. it has been thriving for about 2 years now, so just make sure some of ur regular fish food floats by where the anemone is

    i just got a leopard wrasse (aka blackspotted wrasse) and i was wonderin if anyone has any experience with them. i really like him, so i hope someone has some insider info so i dont lose him, as this is my first wrasse
