a five gallon tank is really only good for invertes, too small for fish, no matter how small it may look. it might make a cool mantis shrimp tank though, if u want to go that route.

my pump for my eclipse filter just died out on me tonight. i really dont use it for anything except circulation and airation. i have a powerhead that puts out 160 gph (i have a 29 gal). will this be good enough to keep my tank alive overnight? stock is: xenia capnella zoos flame hawkfish...

i use a little cup, like the ones that come with medicine, and put some water from the tank in it. i then put the cube of frozen food in the cup and let it melt. once its melted u can just pour it in the tank

i really enjoy my flame hawkfish, great personality, but idk what kinda of invertebrates you have in your tank. if you have any types of shrimps, they could become a nice snack for him!

i also have a leopard wrasse and about 15 hermits in a 29 gallon. i dont think he even knows the hermit crabs exist.

i have a flame hawkfish in a 29 gallon. im fairly confident he will take out any other fish i put in the tank, since he killed a yellow-tailed damsel that had been in my tank since i started it. i would never consider another bottom dwelling fish. btw, here is the chart u were talkin about

i got this guy as a hitchhiker on a rock with my xenia, just wondering what it is exactly. i think its just some typical green polyp, but im not sure. thanks

idk about them being bad, i have had hundreds of them in my tank with no damage to my corals (capnella and zoas). i have had zero problem with these guys, they just sit in crevices in rocks and filter feed.

do urchins eat corraline algae? if so, looks like my first-ever hitchhiker is gone

my tube anemone has always just eaten some extra flake that has floated into its tenticles. it has been thriving for about 2 years now, so just make sure some of ur regular fish food floats by where the anemone is

i just got a leopard wrasse (aka blackspotted wrasse) and i was wonderin if anyone has any experience with them. i really like him, so i hope someone has some insider info so i dont lose him, as this is my first wrasse
