So i recently decided to take down both my 8 gallon biocube with Mh and my 5.5 with T5s and add them together into one tank. It really amazed me how much I had packed into those two tanks. I had most of the equipment needed to put it together. Right now I am running a stock 20 Long, added in...
Decided to re-do my old 2.5 that was being ignored. So I added in frogspawn, Mean greens, green yuma. Then removed the 18w PC fixture for a 24w T-5 cadlight fixture. The colors and look are so much better with T-5's!!!!
I have a 8 Gallon Bio cube. Looking to upgrade to a HQI. I have decided to go with the Sunpod unit. now I can't decide whether to go with the 70 or the 150!!! The 70 being 16.5 would fit better, but for like 10 bucks more I can get the 20" with 150W. What would YOU do???

So from my old 55G I had around 100 lb of LR, I traded most of it in for a smaller tank. After that tank caught on fire anyway the LR after the fire was kept. Its been a couple of year the rock of course is bare and dry(left out of water) What are different ways of bringing back to life...
Started a new 8 gallon tank. Put in like 16 lbs of LS. Equals out to about 1 1/2 to 2 inches of substrate. Is this considered too much and how much would be to much????
Decided to try a oceanic bio-cube 8 gal. I have to admit its quite impressive so far. 17lb of LS, 4 1/2 pounds of nice LR. three hermits, a turbo snail, coral banded shrimp (from my 2 1/2 gallon) and a clown named sushi. Going good so far!!!!
Here's my down sizing to a small, small tank. Love it so far need to buy some coarls now!! 6 blue legged hermits, 3 turbo snails 2 lbs of LR. 18 watts of PC 10k and actinic 03.
