well unfortunately I really dont think I have the time or money to run a system the size that i planned. I am thinking of getting a 28g nano cube and making that my frag tank as I still want to keep and grow corals. Anyone here ever see a nano cube as a frag tank?

I am looking into a smaller more compact skimmer for my 55g frag tank i am setting up and had a thought. the skimmer is going to be in my sump/fuge. since its a fuge too the water level will need to be pretty high. is there a certain point on a skimmer where the water level in the sump cant go over?

I am breaking down my 125 soon and setting up a 55g frag tank. The only fish i have are 2 true percs, a sixline, and a tiger jawfish. Im sure ill be able to get the clowns and sixline with a trap but i have no idea how im going to catch the jawfish. any ideas???

sorry to hear about all that. if you felt an intense shock then that is probably what killed everything. 3 hours isnt enough time for lack of oxygen to kick in. my power went out for close to 8 hours a few weeks ago and besides the temp dropping everything was fine when it finally came back on...

i dont plan on having a sandbed in the frag tank and I will be hooking up a sump and filling it with live rock and stuff. and I also have a huge HOB filter that I will prolly just grow cheato in.
