can anyone id these (circled). one is growing on the base skeleton of my frogspawn and the other is growing in my plating monti. they look like feather dusters with no crown. if i put my finger near them they close up. thanks for any input.

anywhere from 175 to 250, depending on where you get it. try to find used here or newspaper, you will save money.

that is sweet...i like the idea of the whole front sliding out. at times i wish i had that for access.

i would be careful with an anenome. they tend to move around...i had two die in my powerheads. they can be move corals around that are not secured also. best of luck. that is how i got into my reef, after 2 years of fish only.

where is the best location in the box. some threads say inside the "cooler" and then other say on the outside. i shipped using the ReefForBrains method in shipping and handling thread. the heat pack was cold when it got there and the coral did not make it. it was also a next day delivery...

not sure why, but if you look at any post selling xenia they state that also. when i originally got mine it was next day and half of the stalks disattached from the rock. i just super glued them back on.

i had the same thing a few months back. i scraped it off of the rock with a butter knife. is has not grown since i did that. i still have no clue what it was though.
