before i went reef i had a pretty aggressive snapper. just a thought.

it can survive as one polyp. the get nutrients from the water and light, so you don't have to feed it. hopefully it will multiply for you.

i am running mh's. i don't know if that was true. but i do trust the guys at that store they are really good.

i used aiptasia control from blue life. it worked really well. it is reef safe. i did have some get on my zoos but they are doing fine. good luck.

Anyone one in Pittsburgh or close interested in xenia or colt? I don't mind shipping, but xenia does not do well when shipping. I will post pics of the colt and of the xenia mother colony, a lot of the frags are pushed together. Just ask and I can take pics of different size frags. PM me...

i asked the lfs why my anemone turned tannish and he said that it was the lighting. it absorbs light and changes color. i guess they like to tan. he said that it was normal.

go eagles...first of all. second...what is you tank sitting on? if you can take out 20% of the water and move the furniture with the tank on it, you can just leave it as is and replace the 20% like a water change. i would not pick up the tank do to the stress on the glass. another option...

it is hard to see in the pic but if it is a white coating i just had that happen. i lost and entire colony that was about 6 inches by 8 inches. good luck...i was able to frag off three polyps before they were infected.

i would get it. every now and then you have to reward yourself. i looks really cool. i would take the advice of doktorj99 though. i purchased some that look completely different in my tank.

i was told at the lfs that it was colt when purchased. i know the kenya tree is very similar but mine may have been mislabled.

i thought of getting a clam but am a little nervous b/c hermits killed my cleaner clams. maybe they were already dying but to spend the money on a clam and then death by hermits....not good.
