I would suggest Seachem Reef Dip. You use 1 capful in a gallon of source water and dip for 5-10 minutes. I dip everything I get prior to placing it in my tank. Haven't had a problem yet. IMO the most important thing while doing this is to be sure the dip water is the same temp as the tank. Tom
