Why still selling Wild Bangaii Cardinals?

Why is Saltwaterfish still selling wild caught Bangaii Cardinals?? They have not be added to an endangered species list, but everyone in the hobby knows that they are endangered...so why still sell wild caught when captive bred are available out there?

    Vodka Dosing.

I was thinking that since some LPS rely on a lot of nutrients in the water that may be the cause? Or am I just shooting in the dark here?

    Vodka Dosing.

So I'm up to 15mL and the cyano is disappearing, so is the algae on the glass. The skimmer is going completely nuts too. But some of my corals are not happy. My Ora Green Birdsnest has been slowly dying over the course of 2 months. My Candy Cane is slowly dying and it's tissue is recessing...

    Vodka Dosing.

So does that mean the good bacteria should hypothetical cause the cyano to disappear?

    Vodka Dosing.

How about a hypothetical answer?? If I continuously siphon out all the cyano I see, but continue to dose at the same time...is there a possibility of the "good" bacteria beating out the cyano for the nutrients?

    Vodka Dosing.

What if I don't cut back the dosing and just continually keep up with the siphoning of the cyano, will it eventually disappear because the "good" bacteria will use up all the carbon source?

    Vodka Dosing.

Yeah...it just started to grow more rapidly recently. I'd really hate to cut my dosing all the way back to 4.5...It's taken me over 4 months just to get to 9.5..UGH!! My skimmer is performing VERY well. The collection cup fills with dark, nasty, smelly stuff. I usually have to empty it...

    Vodka Dosing.

So I'm up to 9.5mL daily and I'm getting a lot of cyano growth on one of my overflows. Do I have to cut back dosing? Or can I push forward in hopes that the continued dosing will remove the nutrient the cyano is using to grow?

    Snails that flip themselves over?

So I need to stock up on my CUC, but I'm tired of buying Astrea snails because if they fall over they can't right themselves. Are there any snails out there that will do the same job and right themselves?

    Who's into wine?

Yeah...my basement is quite warm even though its below grade. I think I'm going to get a cooler. I found a 24 bottle one for under $200!! I'll add a hygrometer to watch the humidy level. Hopefully that will allow me to store the bottles for 5-10 years.

    Who's into wine?

I'm looking for coolers with humidity control...haven't had any luck yet. I was also just told by someone that no humidifier I add to the cooler will be able to keep up the humidity.

    Who's into wine?

I've been doing a bunch of research on how to store wine long term and I've found that wine should be kept at 54-degrees and at least 70% humidity. Do these coolers keep the humidity level up?

    Who's into wine?

I'm pretty sure there are a few people on here that are into wine. I'm looking to store some bottles long term, but I don't have a wine cellar. Do these wine coolers work?
