How much do fish need to eat?

I feed my main tank 3 or 4 times a day my other tanks twice a day. It all depends on the fish do a Google search on each of your fish you should be able to see what the needs of your fish are. There are a lot of different species that need to be feed 2 to 3 times a day or they will slowly starve...

    Tell me about going FO.

My first salt water tank was a 180 gal with the bleached corals and a large wet dry filter I ran it for years like that. That was 20 yrs ago and I still have all the bleached corals from that tank up in my attic.

    30 gallon for Valentini?

I have to agree without the LR a min of 35 lbs for a 35gal you will be asking for trouble. Live rock is your filter so it is a must get.

    kluzenger wrasse

I'm very surprised also. I have read numerous articles saying never to feed fresh water fish to saltwater fish as it is supposed to damage the liver and other organs. Even though you have had success I would just feed him salt water fish and invertebrates from the grocery store it is very...

    Tank is Cloudy

What do you have living in your tank as some coral, clams and fish will cloud your tank when they spawn. I had my 150 gal tank go cloudy for a few hours after something in my tank spawned. A friend filmed his clam shooting out a continuous stream of stuff out of its mouth that lasted for hours...

Should I worry about this (pics)

in the first pic If it is hard to the touch than it is a type of encrusting coral. The second pic you have to worry about as it is bubble algae and will spread all over your tank. If you try to remove it in the water be sure not to pop the bubbles as it will cause it to spread faster. It is...

    what should i buy

The best way to chose lighting is to look at what you want to live in your tank. So you say you want an anemone ( this is a mistake and will only cost you money as you will not keep it alive in a new tank give it a year) OK lets think that you are going to wait the year so you need to research...

    Aquarium durability?

I was told 10yrs for salt and longer for fresh so I hope your right at 20 but that seems like a long time for silicone to last in a saltwater environment.

    powerhead or protein skimmer

A protein skimmer is the best thing you can do for your tank so that's the way I would go.

    Tiger jawfish?

I did a quick search on this fish as I like him myself they are classed as a good reef fish friendly with everyone but their own kind so I would say the answer is no they do not get along together. Its one of those things with a large enough tank where there is enough room for both to be able to...

    Tell me about going FO.

I agree you still need your rock for filtration so place it in your sump. My only question is what will you use for hiding places so your fish can get away from the overly aggressive fish. I have not seen or read about angelmans tank so if he has a way for them to hide forget about my question

    what trigger?

I see you do not have any invertebrates so saying that a Niger Trigger should not be a problem if your angle is not to territorial.

    Yellow tang won't eat

Maybe after 7yrs its just his time ( old age ) I had a blue Damsel that died of old age he just stopped eating one day. The hardest part was watching him go down hill over time and not being able to do anything about it.

    Queen angel in a reef?

If you do a Google search you will see its a no go for a Queen trigger unless you want to sacrifice your invertebrates. Now if you want a trigger you can have a Blue Throat ( I have one in my 150gal mixed reef ) or you can have a Sargassum trigger and a bit more of a hit and miss a Pink tail trigger

    Bicolor Parrot Fish

If it's for your 12 gal aquapod you will kill it in less than 24 hrs this fish needs a very large tank. Save your money and look at smaller fish.
