    Crab ???

Hi, I have had emerald crabs with tiny pipefish and with young erectus and no problem while they have enough to eat. If they run out on algae then it could be a problem. Now, I have lost a few pipes to sargassum crabs and larger shrimp. Ro

a big question for the seahorse experts

Yes, IMO you can keep some in a tank that size but you have to really keep up with the water changes and make sure the temperature stays acceptable (65 to 75 F) and it does not fluctuate. I would say Zoanthids are not ok for the zosterae. They are safe for the larger species of seahorse but...

I think I have found a way to keep dwarfs in a larger tank!!! The biggest issue is to make sure the dwarfs get enough food (Artemia nauplii) passing by them so they can eat it, right?? Well since the baby brines always swim towards the light, I have installed two submersible spotlights in my...

    Kudas VS. Dwarfs Seahorses

The Dwarf's are much more difficult to care for than the Kuda or the Erectus because of the following... - They need to be fed live baby brine shrimp (just a few hours old) 2 to 3 times per day. - They need a small tank because they tend to stay near the bottom and when you feed them the brine...

    My Seahorse Tank

This tank does not have a strong enough filtration for any type of coral because for the seahorses don’t like strong current and the babies get sucked up in the filter. So I decided to just have seahorses and some snails in this tank. Ro
