The tank starting to get a pretty bad outbreak on the rocks. Is there anything that will eat it? If anything in my tank now eats it normally, i'd say they aren't doing a very good job. I'd really like something to get rid of it. Of course i know they don't always do they job you intend them...

the water is too warm in a tank for these guys. they will slowly die. it's a shame the lfs didn't warn you about it. a GOOD lfs won't stock them at all.

well, my sand bed is about 3-3 1/2 inches deep. i was thinking that wasn't enough for this fish but i just can't go through taking all that rock again to add more sand. i just don't have the time at the moment. then i read on this site that it says it needs 2 inches. that really doesn't seem...

i agree with wamp also. even if the clarifier does work, it's no fun to watch. get you some little cleaners...they definitely work and they're fun to watch. i use a little of that stuff when i do water changes to keep all the floaties out of the water..or at least to control it a little.

i guess all of these have different personalities. my sally lightfoot is wonderful. it's never bothered anything at all. just keeps to itself and eats and jumps around the tank.

if i were you i'd try to get them exhanged for something else instead of replaced. they are really pretty when you can see them....but they hide A LOT...which also makes it really difficult to feed them. in fact, i still can't figure it out. i've tried putting food right in front of them but...

i would leave it alone....it will probably grow a new tube. feather dusters are really hardy. i bet it isn't dead.

I've never heard of anyone keeping these in a tank. The only thing i know about them is i used to work on a boat and i'd catch these all the time. they're one of my favs. and i handled them all the time. never heard anything about them being toxic like the lion fish as someone mentioned...
