Three fish looking for good home - no $ or trade, just free

So I'm moving to college in two months and my fish tank unfortunately cannot come with me. I have two Percula Clownfish (mated pair) that are about 5 years old, a Royal Gramma who's age I do not know, and several hermits that all need good homes. I'm not asking for anything in return, but I...

Wet/Dry just broke, interested in refugium

Hello Everyone, my wet/dry filter recently broke after about 5 years of running. The latches that it hung off of and also released water into the main tank cracked off and I'm pretty sure this leaves it dysfunctional. I was considering changing to a sump/fuge setup but have next to no clue on...

    Gray sponge attack

Really sounds like black cyano, which is something I had invade my tank also. All I did was less frequent feedings and lighting time and it went away eventually.

    Big red worm *pics*

He's fine. Very few common worms will actually prey on any desirable fish/inverts.

    ID please...tentacles?

Could be a miniature brittle star. They're generally white, but I have seen exceptions. Try and put some food near it's hole and see if it comes out.

    A little concerned

my pair of clowns have laid two batches of eggs with only a two week interval. Is this alright? I've been told that my conditions must be good for them to breed but is it normal for them to do it this fast? Thanks for the help.

    Corallimorphs Spreading Fast

Ok so last July I noticed a Carribean Corallimorph hitchhiker. No big deal. I was told that they're completely harmless and would probobly die off. Fast forward to today, I have about 15 of the things all over my tank (55). There are even a few that are in complete light (fluorescent). They...

    Cleaning Crew Questions

Ok I have two questions. First, which would be better for keeping my sandbed clean, a fighting conch or a group of ceriths? And second, is there any way I can make my powerheads safe for a lettuce nudibranch? Thanks

I think my chromis has Lymphocystis

I recently recieved a single green chromis and I have just noticed that there is a white blotch on his upper caudal fin. The upper part also looks like it's been slighty damaged from another fish. I wasn't aware of either the disease or the damage when I got him. Unfortunately I cannot...

    Single Green Chromis

Has anyone ever had experience/good results form just keeping a single green chromis? I've read that they only school if there is large fish, and my tank is too small for anything bigger than a dwarf angel.

    Clam? Scallop? Attached to Snail

Perhaps an oyster? Those usually have mottled shells.

    Flame Scallops

If it moves itself to a different area, just leave it. That is most likely the area it has the best chance of surviving in.
