how fast will the puffer grow? I mean approximately... I could move him to the 75 tank i guess its longer but not as deep.... dont know what to do with the butterfly in the meantime; he is the problem for the time being. Beautiful but naughty.

Thanks!!! The Blue linckia and that hermit crab have been hanging out together for over a week. the crab just rides along wherever the star goes. its cute plus there's a hermit in my tank with some sort of freaky alien type satellite on him. I think he owns the local aquarium radio...

I love my puffer! His name is Mack, cuz he looks like a mack truck. haha anyhow, he never puffed up when i brought him home. he's about 6 in. the store just sent him home with me in double bags.

They can hurt your Acropora if you have any. If they are damaging it, the Acropora will turn white at the bottom where its attached to rock. those stars also like Stylophora and Pocillopora. The answer is Harlequin shrimp, but they will eat brittle stars too unfortunately.

as far as i know they shouldn't do anyting but eat algae.... they're cool lookin too

i think my anemone ate a cleaner crab already..... mmm tasty!
