How do you like your bars???

I like bars that are clean, but look dirty. Bars that are dark in the middle of the day, and have a real jukebox with real music in it. I am so annoyoed with those internet things that allow the "children" to come and select songs that are being played on radio stations 8 times a day.

What are the most pretty "Reef Safe" fish you can think of?

I love my Potter's angel, and have never seen him doing anything to my corals. This pic from the SWF link, IMO, doesn't really do them justice. I also loved my flame hawk I so bummed I lost him when he jumped.

what is wrong with this zoo

+1 on the dip. I had a colony that wasn't looking very good for a few weeks. I'd moved them around, up and down, more and less flow, and finally put them in my QT, thinking I'd watch them die. I never did identify any parasite, or specific cause, but I decided that a dip couldn't hurt. Into a...

    testing?

I truly believe that, if you're watching your tank; and I mean really observing your livestock, and corals, and inverts, and live rock; there's no need to test more that what you're doing. IMO, regular checks for ammonia in an established tank is like getting up every morning and checking your...
