I have done it both ways I think it is better to put water first...then you can just mix it in the tank wait 24 hours shut all equipment off then add the sand.. make sure you wash the sand well. good luck

Hi I am ready to add fish to my daughter's tank it will be a mixed reef. She does not want clowns as we have them in the 75 gal. Can yous help with some ideas on what you would put in the tank. And also the order they should be placed in the tank. Thanks Kelly

I had a watchman goby paired off with a pistol shrimp. He got himself stuck in a coral holder i have in my tank. Has anyone else had this kind of problem with there goby? Also I would like to get another watchman for the pistol shrimp. Do they pair off easily I purchased these two as a pair...

my pipe organ in the pic does the placement seem OK it does not seem to be doing as well as I would like it may be that the hermit crabs poke at it what would special care do yours like?

I have three torches and sometimes they close for a bit and then reopen this is normal for mine. They all do it at different times and R doing great. Hope this helps.

I am guilty of having a sailfin and a chocolate tang in a 75 both R very young still I will be upgrading to a 120 plus. I was told they would be fine for several years in my 75. So I am sure 3 would be fine in your tank. Good luck
