So I have an extra 10 gallon tank that used to be a quarantine tank (I got another one) I'm thinking about turning it into a low maintenance freshwater tank. What do you think? And what would I have to do to it to convert it over, since it had saltwater in it?

yeah i had a diamond goby and he didn't make it lol. and BTW I have a ton of empty shells for my crabs,they just attack the snails and dont' even take their shells

Anyone suggest a good sand cleaner? I have hermits and a huge mexican snail, but I really don't like the crabs, I'm tired of them killing off the turbo snails that I had and killing each other. I also have a brittle star but he doesn't clean the sand at all to be honest.

So I just took it apart and cleaned it really really well and plugged it in and it still doesn't work

I think I'll try to clean it. When I plug it in, it doesn't even make a sound like the motor is trying to start or anything.

I have a pretty large green brittle starfish in my 45G tank and I wanted to get a cleaner shrimp. Do you think it would bother the shrimp? He's pretty big these days. And what are the advantages and disadvantages of a cleaner shrimp??

Yeah I think it's dead, I looked inside and it's completely empty. I don't know much about clams, but I assume it shouldn't be empty lol

I just put this new piece of LR in my tank last week and all of a sudden tonight I noticed this tiny clam opened up. You can't tell in the pic but there are real tiny hairs outlining the opening of him. and BTW-- Isn't this the cutest face you've ever seen? My little Milan....

lol i love reading all the replies Actually that is my quarantine tank, I don't have a sump or anything, I will definately be doing the sump when I get my 90 gallon. Yeah I agree I need to do something different with the rocks, but I just don't know what I'm not really that creative lol.
