Is it true that they feed on silicates? I read somewhere if you have a bunch of these guys its a sign of high silicates.

My Yellow Tang was very territorial to my Copperband Butterfly, so much that I had to take back my CBB. Since the flame is not the same body shape as the tang do you think I would have any problems? Hes not aggressive to the rest of the tank mates, damsel, 2 percs, and a firefish goby.

I really dont want to use chemicals to remove my hair algae. Is it ok to remove my LR, at a piece at a time and scrub the hair algae off? Should I mix up some SW to dip when I am scrubbing, or can I scrub it and just get the brush wet with some FW?
