well thas good! it is coralline which is really good, it shows your tank is healthy and established and it is hard for nuisance algae to grow over it.

well imo the tangs arent such a good idea with teh cow fish since they can easily become very territorial and it woulndt be worth the risk especially with a cowfish (they are the one with the poison right?) and im thinking maybe a hawkfish and/or a school of chromis would be nice

what is an effective way to get rid of it? it has to be reef saffe, i already have a fighting bear conch and that has nt really done the trick

i am a little suspicious the only anems i have seen with an orange base are haitian or condylactys, to me that looks nothing like a bta. are you sure you can trust your LFS? and and yeah they are called "false" or "ocelleras" clowns

okay so i would like to get a carpet anemone, but two questions remain, one do you think my maroon clown will host in it? he has hosted a BTA an many different fake anemones. and two, are they really THAT hard to take care of?

what kind of clownfish? if its a maroon then i'd say get rid of it because once you get an aggressive one it gets worse and worse

unless it comes with a chiller it isnt worth it, the MH will heat the small tank too much and a chiller would be required wihtout it the tank would fail completley
