huh ill have to research it some my cal. is always a little high well 475/500 that is...i thought i was a piece off a coral that i got for free to try and save but didnt happen...but that was a month ago and its growing so i was like well hell this thing is something else....spanko are you...

i thought this was just a waste type of deal but its starting to grow so next question is what is it....

new adds!!! the star is healing up nicely btw...pictures dont do them justice but maybe after a day or two they'll be more photogentic

thanks i hope so too...he's seem to find a nice hole to recover in from what i can see looks like he/she is starting to recover and rebuild it's self quickly...

ouch someone or somehow got ahold of him...this really looks better than what it was a day or two after i took this...he lost a chunk around the white area and is still alive to my surprize...since then he's been not moving much around and keeping hide for the most part...which i dont blaim him...

i wouldnt worry to much about your nitrates...i know somebody who has constantly high nitrates with no issues...when i first started in this hobby i was impatient also but not as impatient as you lol...in a nutt shell you're starting a new world in your tank and it needs to grow and mature...

lol yea when i first saw it i was like what is he doing i got him for the mixing up the sand but for him to do all of that i was amazed...needless to say it was entertaining to watch his progress...i think once i noticed it, it took him only around a hour or so even with him taking breaks...good...

check this guy out he made his own man cave... ok for the record that rock wasnt covered at all earlier today... man cave open for business closed and time for some r&r

yea that could prob. work...im thinking it was more of a freak thing then anything..maybe got into a coral that did the damage...who knows i've never seen anything like it and beth which from what i hear is some expert on the subject didnt know for sure so im going to chalk it up to something...
