tomato clown is ruling tank

See if your LFS will trade it for another one. Try putting a mirror on the side of the tank. Maybe he'll be too busy fighting the reflection to bother the others. Just a thought. :D

    Powder blue vs. hippo tang

I would go with the P.Blue. I had a hippo once and it was nerve racking to watch. It would hide or lay on its side at a drop of a hat.Any sudden movement near the tank (even feeding) would scare him. I really like him but he was like the "odd man out" in the tank. Just my experience. Im sure...

    live sand with crushed coral?

I had the same problem when I had CC. The brown stuff would make my tank look dirty.Try cutting down on how long the lights are on. I like to keep the lights on all day so I switched to GE aquarays blue bulbs.I dont have the CC anymore because of nitrate and ammonia problems. :D

    LFS hiding something?

I mentioned to my LFS guy that I switched to sand and he looked at me like I was crazy. He wanted to know why. He has 1 display tank with sand. I also noticed several hidden tanks with dsb. All of these tanks have that colored sand look. They keep them covered with brown paper bags taped to the...

    Pictures Local only tank

When you say local you mean you caught them yourself. Now that I like. I live in NJ. If I could catch stuff around here I would love to put in my tank. Then again this is NJ.

    Now what?

I was thinking about putting it in my cichlid tank but then I would have left over gravel from that tank.If I ever decide to change that tank I would have to take it out again.

    Now what?

For all those who switched from CC to sand. What do you do with the crushed coral? Anyone in the Atlantic City area interested in buying it leave a message. Enough for a 55 gal.

The newer one comes in a green box.I have one on my 55gal and it works for me.Make sure you allow enough time for it to break in.It will send bubbles in the tank until it does.Dont use additives that say the provide a slime coat or it will produce bubbles like crazy. It will produce a very wet...
