I've heard that the BiColor and the Purple's are the worst. I went with the Fridmani, as they're supposed to be far less aggressive, yeah, no.....

since you want a shrimp and stuff, id completely get rid of the damsel and dottyback. instead look for a goby and pistol shrimp pair.
make sure ur tank is cycled though. other fishes to add are blennies and ocellaris or percula clowns. not many more choices past that if you want non-aggressive fishes

ya im prob gonna return both fish! I cant really seem to find a goby&shrimp combo around here. Hopefully the place with the sexy shrimp, that i havent been to yet will have something for me =). I did see a nice fish tonight, it was a yellow headed watchman goby.....$39.99. So im thinkin a shrimp combo w/ this guy would be upper of $60!

LOL i thought my tank was cycled....guess i should have waited for the diatom bloom. Anyway after i get rid of the fish it will have a sand snail, reg green snail, and 3 sm hermits in it!

So yes ill prob look for a goby shrimp combo and a blenny! Think in a couple weeks when i KNOW its cycled....i could add both all 3 specimens at the same time?

i would do the shrimp/goby combo first so that they have pick of where they want to create a hole
you can facilitate by creating one forthem
then a week or 2 after, get the blenny. theres alot of beautiful blennies out there. with such small fishes, you could have 3 fishes later on if you give it time to establish

k great!~ Thxs for the advice professor....o o o i also picked up another zoo frag tonight....for $10 lol its sm and only has like maybe 10 zoos on it. I'll post a pic of it tomorrow with the lights on! LOL so far ive already got like 4 diff types of zoos...these new ones are red and white i think. It was just a chunk of zoo rock that fell of an original.

Should i put polyps in this tank w/ the zoos?
BTW it in the 36.....when the lil ones ready i just have to temp acclimate them correct>?
I just hope the switch from t5 to led wont kill em!!!!!

Hey just as a heads up, I had a tiger pistol and barber goby combo in my 24 (2 years), and the shrimp kept the water kinda murky seeming, even with weekly water changes. I don't recomend it in a small tank cause they are always sifting stuff around. Just from my experence!

Tiger pistols are messy. Go with a Randalli Pistol shrimp (the red and white striped one). They're more peaceful, don't grow as quickly, and don't make as much of a mess.

you dont need sand in your refugium, itll just be a nitrate factory with that kind of flow going through it
