well gotta do a water parameter check today! Ive been keeping an eye on the salinity mostly. This lil 10gal suprisingly evaporates a lot....Ive also done a re-aquascaping. I think its better but im still not satisfied. Will include pics in a lil bit. Help with the rock situation would be great>! Im thinking of taking the sm damsel out, the dottyback isnt very nice to him! =(

This is after the water change dilema :/
I didnt even have time to check the other system i have and i guess i gotta be careful about my feeding habits with the 10gal, as i know i over fed it flakes this morning. I'll check the 36 when i get home later tonight and hopefully it wont be the same story.

definately do a water change ASAP. your tank never established the colonies needed and will cycle throughout the next couple of weeks. you must now do what they call a soft-cycle. you will do water changes daily to keep ammonia down
as for the top off. you might have to top off in small increments throughout the day. i did this in the 10g since i did not have an ATO.

wat if i take out the damsel and put him in the 36....will this help? I also put some more established rock from the 36 in the 10.

i would take that damsel back to be honest. putting him in your larger tank will really cause the devil in him to be brought out

My Fridmani has killed a SixLine and three Skunk Cleaner Shrimp (but leaves the 4 Harlequins alone, go figure!). She beat on my McCosker's so badly that I have to keep him in my 20G refugium right now. She's now declared war on my poor Mystery Wrasse (aren't they supposed to be tough guys?). I hope she knows that her time with us is coming to an end. As soon as we move, she's going to the predator tank at a LFS.

My bicolor is a SOB.
It hasn't killed anything yet (that I know of), but it terrorizes new additions and spits sand everywhere.

Mine is too....I have had it since the beginning though, and it is in the 225G....so it is basically one of the smaller fish's...LOL...BUT IT gives all newcomers HELL
it even goes after snails when I add new ones

Yup, I ended up throwing mine in the 155 thinking, "Okay little monster, now you're the smallest fish, let's see how tough you are now." It attacked my Sailfin tang,
