YEA!! Buddy.
That looks sweet. I couldn't have drilled the holes any better myself. Those look good. Money well spent. Your patience has been rewarded.
I would not cut that silicone out for the new panes. What I do is take a little off the corner to relieve the new pannle to fit over the tanks silicone. You could have the glass shop grind a tad off the offendiing corners or you could do it yourself. Use sand paper. I like the sanding drum for a dremel tool.
In my opinion, silicone to silicone doesn't stick all that good. The same goes for glass that has once had silicone stuck to it. You just can't ever get it all off cause you can't get into the pores of the glass.
Here is a shot of what I mean on the corners of offending pannels. As if you didn't already figure it out.

Thanks Kid!!! It's 6' long 18" wide and 23" tall. So ya the OF boxes will take up some real estate, but not too much... only 5"x11" in both back corners. It was the cheapest and easiest solution. I think we can all agree on how expensive "start-up" cost can be in our beloved hobby/addiction/obsession!!!
Thanks for your advice P!!! You have been a wealth of very useful knowledge and help to me on this journey of mine thank you! So what do you do with the void in the corner? Just fill it in with silicone? I have the OF panes glued together and sitting in the tank with the Loc-Line in place
It's starting to look like somethin is actually getting done WOOHOO!!!

Yea, I bet it is looking like it is all coming together. Good times.
Yes, just fill the corner in with the silicone. Ideally you will only remove just enough of the corner to miss the tanks seal. Sometimes a little more. It will be ok.

OK Kid, here's some progress for ya

Got the OF boxes glued together and siliconed in the tank. Got the tank plumbing done; bulkheads, standpipes, returns, and Loc-Lines... And did a leak test. Only ONE very small leak in the right side OF box (fixed) WOO-HOO I decided to test the flow on the 1.5" OF's and one side was keeping up with the garden hose which is a VHO Well-Pump

And... I decided I didn't like the the white PVC of the standpipes so I went and got a can of Krylon Fusion and now they're black

The only pieces I glued are the adapter to the pipe, and the street 90 to the tee. The cap is not glued to the tee, and I drilled a 1/8" hole in the cap. I did it that way so it can be removed for cleaning etc..
Hope that answered your ?

Yea, what i was thinking is that the tops were sealed off so the drain was creating a siphon. It would appear not.

Nope
The 1.5"s are a little overkill for a 125 IMO but, better safe than sorry!!!

Yea, Your still gonna have big black squares in the corner if you know what I mean. If you do a DIY wall structure they will go away.
Just make sure the glass jockey is willing to replace the tank if he should break it. If it is tempered then there is nothing anyone can do about that but, if it gets broke out of careless work he should replace it. For me I have not found a glass shop or fish store willing to put up that kind of responsibility. That is just me. Also ask them to drill from the inside out. That way if they chip it on the last little bit the chips wont be on the sealing surface.
What kind of rock is that?
Here is the plumbing you have seen,

Here it is after a DIY wall and a cheap light to see it. The spot that is undone is where the return will be. I will finish it after I get the return figured out.

how did you do this rock wall?
