The best was on the birth day of the 37 yr old

Have fun they grow up quicker than you think.
you're either wise & fabulous, or masochistic & insane.

I hear you! We were stuck in a hotel room in Vegas for 3 days. She hates her brother anyway, then all of us in one room, she did not want to go anywhere, do anything and she hated each and everyone of us in the room. That was fun.

OK..OK.. I will get some ketchup!
Mine is only 5 and she is running around after everything she thinks is a boy, smarting back, laughing one minute and crying the next, and she knows everything ALREADY!
I must eat her before she gets any mouthier...I mean bigger!!!!

Sorry, I was thinking of some late night Mimzy posts on Crimzy's dog thread, so when I saw alyssia's post, right after your post, I thought she was talking about you. But she probably never saw the other thread, so my bad...

My name is actually Kelli

My daughter's name is Alyssia, and yes you pronounce the i.
But she usually just goes by Aly, cuz no one EVER pronounces Alyssia right, it's always Alyssa or Alicia.

Don't tell me this is what I have to look forward to in 13 years
I'm hoping parenting has something to do with it :p

You calling Kelli and me bad parents........

I was shopping yesterday with my daughter and we would see a little kid (5 or younger) and I told her that I wanted to go up to the parents and say enjoy their kids now because soon they will grow up and be like her. She started laughing and pointed out some other kids and their dad that I should go talk to.

Well now she's got herself grounded. Yesterday she was told to clean her room, told us she did, then when I went to check it, it was a mess. Granted it was better than before, but still a mess. She rolls her eyes and says "I didn't get it finished, I'll just do it tomorrow after school." No, you will do it NOW, at which point I hear "Why do I have to clean my room anyway, it's MY room" So of course then I had to remind her that it's MY house, and I don't have to let her live in it.
