We still need a chiller in there and a second water storage for the water change system.
We've also taken a big step and got someone out from a solar company..... our tanks are going solar!

More progress:
Sump/fuge completed (except for drilling it for the return pump B/H)
Added 3/4" white styro insulation
RO/DI unit mounted on wall of shed
Genesis metering buckets mounted and partially plumbed

On list:
Paint roof of shed with reflective roof paint
Add turbine-type vent (or other) to shed roof (suggestions? The roof won't take a lot of weight)
Add trim and doors to stand
Stain/Finish stand
Build standpipes (I have my order in to "Renee's Custom Standpipe Emporium"
)
Cut hole in wall of house (gulp!) and shed for drain/return lines and electrical.
Plumb CL
Also, still deciding on which/how large of a chiller we want...and lighting.

Looks good. Google solar attic fans.
I've looked at them, and they seem kinda heavy (the roof is actually two panels of corrugated plastic (think of a cardboard box))...which is why I'm considering the turbine (which are very light). I'm also looking at the larger (6") water heater vents, but those are simply passive vents.
There are also a couple of roughly 5" x 6" vents above the door and opposite end, and I was thinking that I have a couple of good-sized 120V muffin fans I could add to them, but the turbine seems like the easiest way to go.

I was waiting for this thread to come back to life. THANK YOU SAXMAN!
We're REALLY trying to get this puppy finished...it's getting really close now. If we can just keep the pooch healthy and devote some time to it (the next couple of weekends are kinda busy for me, but Renee will likely be at it).

Looks great guys I am just looking at your sump the first compartment is that your skimmer section, it looks like you have a floor siliconed into the tank, just curious, always looking for new and better ideas.

The way the fuge section works is there's no baffle, but instead, there will be a 3/4" a standpipe for the water to exit the fuge via the floor (which is the raised part). It will be fed by the skimmer return and a bleed-off line from the main return. Something Renee saw and wanted to try.

I would like to see another picture of that. Thanks Al

A few more progress shots:
Storage barrel drain:

Genesis System:

It's getting REALLY close to the time I'm dreading...cutting a hole in the wall to run the plumbing and electrical...Renee has been working on this project like a fiend on her days off. Once everything thru the wall is done, that last part will be plumbing the Dart with the OM 4-way to the CL and deciding which chiller to run (I still want a Teco!).
