Nice point Pete ! I'll get some raw shrimp and clams tom. Hey, do you think I should clean up the hang-on filter from the 55 gal QT with vinegar, then put it on the 20 gal-?

Thanks Kirk ! As an update... The Goldster.....that' s his nickname,LOL. He is doing well. I think he want more room, as I feel the 20 gal is too small for him. He didn't really eat, he just took a nibble out of raw shrimp and a piece of krll. I'm hoping he gets hungry soon. I wonder how long they can go without eating -? I didn't even get a chance to clean up the 55, hopefully this weekend ! Hey Pete, what kind of clams are you talking about -? And the raw shrimp, are you referring to the large ones -? Aqua, during the three weeks QT, should add anything to the tank -? Maybe Prazi -? Thanks

Just the regular uncooked shell-on shrimp you buy in the store. Any size, but try to get the wild caught, not farm raised. Leave the shell on when feeding, it help with their teeth. The clams, the regular store bought ones like the little neck clams. I crack one open, rinse and then put it in the tank.

Also, I personally wouldn't medicate with anything unless you know for sure there's a problem with the fish. Especially in a 20gal. First priority would be to get it to eat.

Crypt, the rest of the fishes are doing great, thanks. I changed all the bulbs on my fixture,so it looks a whole lot better. I'm just worry about the puffer, he still didn't eat anything yet. I couldn't get the wild caught shrimp, so I threw in a farm raised one, he took a nibble out of the tail, no mysis, no krill no silversides. Is there anything I can do -?

I've read that it takes a while to get puffers to eat. Mine have always been pigs from day 1, but keep at it, don't give up. My guess is that once it's hungry enough, it'll eat. Otherwise how is it doing? Is it active, eyes clear?

Hey Kirk, I mixing around vitamins, Vita-Chem, Zoe and Zelcon and a little bit of garlic.Yea, I gotta get some calms, hopefully tom, thanks ! Pete,thanks, I'll just keep on feeding.Otherwise, he looks, swimming around fine, sometimes laying on top of the rocks. His eyes are very clear. The thing is,sometimes he looks nice and fat, and sometimes he looks thin. Right now, I'm cleaning up the 55 with Vinegar,hopefully he'll go in by the middle of this week. I was wondering what should I do with the few pieces of rock that was in there -? I had it out of water for a few days.

They are dead. I would wait a few more more days till they dry out Then soak them in regular water for a day then let them dry out again.
You dont need rock in a qt. Its dead and does nothing unless you build caves out of it.
Does the puffer have anywhere to hide? He needsa a home. Stack the rocks form a cave or go get a decent sized piece of PVC pipe that he can lay in and feel comfortable.

I have some rocks in the 20, but very small, I'll try a better cave now. So those rocks are dead, no problem, I'll do as you say, thanks !

if there was bleach and you have used copper in there yeah they are dead rock now.

Hey guys ! I'll updated pics tonight. I just wanted some advice on adding one more tang to the stock list.
Current list:
5 in Hippo
3 in Yellow and Purple Tang
2 in Humu
3 in Bluethroat
6 in Aussie Tusk
6 in Gold Puffer
The last two fishes I'll add is an Emperor and Queen. Is there anyway I can add one more tang -? Thanks again as always !

Get a blond naso. They are gorgeous. i have seem them in the 3 inch range more and more.
