ENJOY GUYS !! Still taking opinions on one last tang to add next month. So far I got a Blonde Naso.
Current list:
5 in Hippo
3 in Yellow and Purple Tang
2 in Humu
3 in Bluethroat
6 in Aussie Tusk
6 in Gold Puffer
The last two fishes I'll add is an Emperor and Queen. Is there anyway I can add one more tang -? Thanks again as always !

Nice pics. Your puffer's teeth look fine and he doesn't look super skinny. Continue to try to feed him... stuff like clams and raw shrimp. I noticed your blue throat trigger's still looking very skinny. Is he eating?
I vote for a naso too. I really like my Naso tang, very nice personality, always swimming up front and never hides, very active.

Hey Pete ! Thanks for the comments ! I can't wait to see the puffer eat, hopefully I'll get some calms today ! Yea, the bluethroat been like that since I went through the ich, hypo stuff. He's eating and coming along, its just that he's taking a longtime to get fat.
. So I'll be ok with the Naso -? So I won't be pushing it -? I was checking BZ they have female's at good prices, Males are pricey

I agree the puffer looks good . Just keep offering him food .
My vote on another tang would be to add two more yellows

Personally I would take the Blue throat out when you get your QT up and running and fatten him up on his own. Right now He has to battle a lot of a fish for food and may not be getting his fill.
Anyway. On a happier note. That is one sweet tank. I would suck up the green algae in the back if at all possible. Also i dont how many more fish I would put in there. All those fish are still young and will double in size. Most of them anyway. Unless you plan a tank double that size once full grown.

Good point Crypt ! I'll check the readings on the 55 QT tonight, and maybe put the Bluethroat in next week. Thanks Crypt, I'm working on getting out the algae. I don't know what's next, either a Naso or two Yellows

I'd also treat the QT with Prazipro. In addition to feeding him anti-parasite medicated foods (Such as NLS Thera A+ pellets)

Hey guys ! Hope everyone had a great fourth ! Now back to work
. Anyways....... I got a problem with the gold puffer, after I put him in the DT, he swim around all the time and didn't eat for a few days, until he finally took some bites of some clams for three days straight. Now just about a little over a week, he stopped eating and looks very thin, and he hides a lot. Do you guys think something is wrong -?

Can you get us a picture or two of the puffer ? Something could be wrong , I'm not say there defiantly is but it sounds like it . How long did the store have it before you bought it ? Was it eating good when you purchased it ?

I think he had problems with this fish not eating from the beginning.
What are your water parameters like? For some reason I'm thinking your puffer is unhappy with something.

Here are the pics guys, all the readings in the tank are fine, except the Nitrate is really high, in the red. He keeps hiding in the back, and doesn't show any attention to food. The only thing he does, is that he comes by the front of the tank when I start tapping on it, and he opens his mouth, like he's trying to bite my hand.

Yeah, he does look a little skinny. Not sure what the problem is exactly but try to get your Nitrates to acceptable levels, at least to around 20 - 40.

Yea, thanks. I'm doing a change tonight. Should I remove him and put him in the 55 gal QT-?
