You are right, I guess in a few years, I might have to sellout some of my livestock.I like the idea of a photo of the Queen, I'll print it out tomorrow. I did some research on the Passer, very beautiful fish. Seems tempting
. But you say backfire, what do you mean-?

I think your problem is that the emperor is established and it won't accept certain tank mates. How big is the queen you bought? I'm thinking maybe a very small one might have better success. Or like CT said, put in more than one fish at a time so agression can be spread around a little.

sorry to hear about the overdose
btw, tusks cant go under copper treatment, that may be why it died?
they cant stand the copper.
is everything gone then? or wat do you have left over form the overdose?

Hey Pete, the Emperor sure has its moments. The Queen I bought is an adult, between 4.5-6.5. I'm looking around for a Passer, but I can't find one. Even SWF.com doesn't have them for sale.
. Hey Skate, I have nothing left in the QT since I "OD" with Cupramine. Big mistake, that won't happen again.
I'm going with Hypo next

ahh fair enough, yeh that stuff is brilliant for killing bacteria but if used wrong, whether too much or too little it can do damage.
is the queen bigger than the emp? from what ive heard they are more aggresive than the emps.
as for the passer why not ask your LFS to order you one, more than likely they will have a huge variety of contacts in order to find one, in the UK we can get more or less anyfish just because of the fact its all supplied by one big company, so they usually have everything in stock, and just make a special order and next time the fish shop scouts are up there, they will pick one up for us.
you should ask your LFS if they could possibly do the same.
hypo is good, alot less stressful for the fish, does take longer tho.
when i used cupramine on my QT i only had to use it for 4 days instead of the usual 10.

I've done both and I personally find copper treatment easier to do. Less water changes to bring the salinity back up, that's what I find most time consuming for hypo. When you bring the salinity down, you can do it in two days. But to bring it back up, you need to do it VERY slowly. Otherwise both ways require you to take readings daily to make sure the levels are just where they're supposed to be.
In fact I think copper gives you a little more room for error.

That's true Pete. I really don't know what went wrong with the Cupramine. I followed the instructions very carefully. Maybe , I should of done a half a dose.
. I guess, I'll learn from my mistakes. Anybody know where I can get a Passer Angel ?

Hey guys ! I'm second guessing the Passer now, I think he might just bully everyone around. Any other suggestions on an Angel I could add to the tank with the Queen and Emperor -?

PM responded too.
Also, I believe 3 "big" angels is better than 2. I believe that it really helps with aggression when everybody has more than 1 fish to "worry about".
The place I got mine from has 2 sizes in stock, I would get the bigger if I were you so the 2 Holacanthus genus angels are similar size....I suspect the Emperor will be the "boss" at least for the time being.
It will be a long time before any of the Angels outgrow your 220 IMO.
How is everything with the tank? Temperature staying stable?

Thank you very much Kirk ! I just completed the purchase. Everything looks ok for this Tuesday, both the Queen and Passer.
I'm hoping we don't get another snowstorm on the same day
. I will QT both of them in my 55 gal. Should I use a divider -? Other than, the tank is doing great. Ever since I added about 75 lbs of live rock, the tank has been pretty stable.
I'm thinking if I should order a few pieces of Macro rocks, which you recommended
, cycle them in a container, and add them when I'm adding the angels -?

Sweet!

Yeah, I would certainly do a divider. I would do Prazipro, I know a lot of people go ahead and QT all their fish with Copper, do you?
I just spray the Marco Rocks off and add them to the tank, they will cycle just as well or better in the tank as they well in a container, they do no harm by adding them immediately.
Hope the weather cooperates!

Divider,no problem. I have Prazi-Pro ready to go. As for copper, I overdose the QT two weeks ago with Cupramine, so I don't think I'm using it again. I really should of done a half a dose, I definitely learned from that mistake.Maybe I'll Hypo the Angels -? I'll pick up a few rocks next week, how maybe lbs-? It looks like 60 % chance of snow on Tuesday. We shall see

Crypt, the Passer is between 4.5-6.5. Same goes for the Queen. I hope I get both of them at the same size :)
