Hi Clown,
I was reading that you treated your cyano outbreak with red slime remover. If I'm not mistaken, that product has erythromycin, an antibiotic, in it. When I used to get cyano, I used Chemiclean and it worked very well. Made the skimmer go crazy, but took care of the problem. There are horror stories around of the antibiotic in Red Slime Remover causing tank crashes.
And on the RO issue, have you tested your tap water for phosphate? There are relatively inexpensive DI units that attach to your faucet that will produce pure water; may cut down on your cyano problem in the future...

red slime remover worked fine its been gone for a few days no signs of a crash i took all carbon out and disconected my skimmer...then in 5 days i did a 25% water change....i think the reason ur skimmer went crazy is cuz you were supposed to disconect it

okay so tonight i ordered:
USA Nova Extreme T5 Aquarium Lighting Fixture, 4X54 Watt, 48 inch w/ 4 lunar moonlights
magfloat 125
and i also got 2 new powerheads
one is 900gph and the other 300gph- do i need one more?
These are the zoos and ric and candy cane i plan on getting this weekend, but the last one is the one im getting from Flricordea...thanks again lol
