i hope this works...this week we will be going to the lfs and im gonna mod the hood of the tank to get rid of the old filter and make it so eggcrate will fit up there....
i will either be getting all of my lr from the store or a hob filter

I still dont have a lot in my tank yet and its about 5 months old. But hopefully Ill be able to get enough money to order some stuff (bills suck)

i would get all your live rock first so that you can cycle the tank before you get fish.

i definatly agree. That was one of the best things i have ever done. With a lot of ls and lr i had almost no cycle (didnt see anything spike... or even move)

like 6 and a half...and it filled it out real good....i think i might drain the water and spraypaint the back today

that will be nice.
i think that a black would look really nice on a tank that small.
but there is no need to drain the tank to do it. just make sure that you have the tank covered really well and put newspaper everywhere so you dont spray all over the place
