Barry bond's record won't matter. A-Rod is going to shatter it if he keeps on his game. Comparing A-Rod and Bonds at age 32, (A-Rod is 32 now) A-Rod has 130 more home runs. Also, A-Rod has a higher percentage of homeruns to hits. Barry Bond will break Arrons record but A-Rod is going to beat Bonds. And keep in mind i am not a yankee fan. If i am a fan of any team it would be the red socks but i dont really care much for baseball.

If he stays with the Yankees, he'll be in a much more potent lineup, meaning he's a lot less likely to get walked. Bonds has never had much in the way of protection, except for maybe Kent for a short period.

I have just spent the last 3 min watching that cat dance.
I dont care if arod will beat bonds because bonds will forever be in the books as one of the home run kings. If he is guilty of useing roids he shuldnt be there in the first place so it completly changes everything. his lack of effort to care about his fans teamates, or reputation is what gives him the nick name punk. I personally would have liked someone else to takken the record but it is what it is

Thank god this is finally over. Enough about this idiot Bonds. Now we can stop hearing about him and more importantly, from him. He can just go retire, keep the record for a while and be remembered more for his scandal than for his accomplishments on the field. I hope he thinks it was worth it as his kids come home crying everyday because the other kids teased that their daddy was a cheater.

I'm surprised that this guy's getting so much support. This guy's own teammates don't even like him, doesn't that tell you something? Would you still support him when he rudely refuses to sign an autograph for your child? This is a bad guy.
