my labor day weekend was good. I took a break from tanks and SWF.com to relandscape my yard....like aquascaping but for normal people... LMAO. The yard looks great and I am enjoying my tank, just not my aches and pains from manual labor...
Atleast the tank is not green now... It's red.... hahah
You'll get it eventually. We've all gone through it... had it.... dealt with it... w.e. but it's a common thing. Just don't over feed. You can also start mixing the foods. I feed sinking pellets every couple of days. The shrimp pick up the ones that land in the sand at night, and my clowns and other fish love them.
There are some snails and CUC members that will eat cyano.
Honestly, what I do is go to the grocery store and pick up a scrub brush like for the dishes or for nails and I just scrub the rocks off, get it floating, and then I do a water change with a gravel vac and suck up the floating pieces. It works really well and got rid of my cyano in days. Good luck.
