About the manderin Iv had one for over 6 months in my 75. There very beautiful I would put one in already Just because the water came from my tank and I know its good. You have good perasmeters and alot of pods so far.The mandarin you buy would do good but ,as time goes one or two more rocks woould help with the production of the pods. So good luck
(Thot you should here some good news for a change)

yes he may have your water but doesnt mean there will lots of pods in his tank. whats better to do is buy some pods they sell at any lfs and add it to your tank. wait a while then buy the manderin

blenny love algae and not a chocolate chip.
get this
The Sand Sifting Sea Star, at first glance, seems to be drably colored like most bottom dwellers. But closer inspection reveals a striking beauty and serenity to the alternating bands of brown and beige that dress this invertebrate's thick, spine-covered arms. Like other starfish, Astropecten polycanthus efficiently consumes mass amounts of detritus and uneaten foods. This nocturnally active member of the Astropectinidae family can move large amounts of sand as it burrows into the substrate in its search for food.

Keep in mind though....the sand sifting star needs a WELL ESTABLISHED tank...and eats A LOT.....so more than likely it will starve in your tank
Bad idea Nissan.......I'm ashamed of you
j/k

on the twinspot, or the signal goby... that will definitely starve. It needs a very very well established tank, with lots and lots of food in the substrate. He eats very fast and I think he would need a much bigger tank, for more surface to clean.

ne thing on the scooter or bi color....
being such a small tank is there ne star i could get.... and i see hohw you guys keep stressing that i need a well established tank... just fyi i wont be getting a star till about 6 or 7 months even longer... ne thing i ask you for your opinion on live stock its a long time away... be sides the two clowns i plan on getting this weekend hopefully i wont be adding ne fish after the clowns for a month or two after that.....
with that in mind dont wanna get ne one in trouble and most def dont want ne ne to catch a whooping because of some questions that r thrown out lol

Sorry if it sounds like we are STRESSING the established tank thing...LOL...BUT ...after reading many many threads, and hearing about other peoples experiences, and learning from MY own mistakes (sand sift star) I just want to be sure you have as much correct info as possible.....
A scooter also needs a good supply of pods.....mine eats frozen mysis, BUT I put it in an extremely established tank with lots of LR and pods already
I also have a bicolor blennie in my 225...does great..eats anything too...that seems to me that it would be something you could add sooner than later

the reason i suggested the scooter is because i have like a million lil white bugs all over my sand rocks and glass, i would love to put up a pick but their so damn small its like impossible to do so
if you look at the frst two pics i posted with the day lights on instead of looking at the rocks try to focus on the glass in the back round and the white lil specs are the bugs im talking about and it gets like worse every day that i turn on my lights theres more and more of them lol
its like they got their own lil orgy going on in my tank, thats one of the reason i first thought of a mandarin
