I’m sorry it all came out wrong and I hope I didn’t offend you.
OH NO FLOWER.....Not at all....LOL......
I also am now at the "picky" part of this hobby.....I am just about fished out, and not sure what corals I should get next....

I get to redo my corals after I get the new sump and fuge going. I never rebuilt after the heater killed most everything. I just keep rearranging my GSP so it doesn't look so empty. The fish are happy.
I can't keep up the daily water changes...I ran out of money and salt. I just got another bucket and I want to use it to redo the tank after the sump is in. I'm afraid to do a water test. My colt coral is looking pretty sad, but everything else seems happy enough.

after a few hours, the new tankmates meeted and greeted every one. The gramma let himself get cleaned by the shrimp. At feeding time everyone got some food. It seems like all is well in the tank. Once the batteries are charged for the camera, I will take some pics. The Orchid looks really good under the lights.

So the dottyback and Gramma get along..ALRIGHT!!! I was worried. I'm pretty sure everyone was saying they wouldn't. I love my Orchid AKA Friedmans Dottyback, he is a beautiful purple blue.... really flashy looking, as is the Royal Gramma. We need some pictures ASAP

Figures, I take 1 picture with the "charged" batteries and the damn batteries die. Charging them up for the proper time frame now. Too bad the charger is not a rapid charger.

so what eats shrimps and nothing else and doesnt leave molts behind?
Imma guess a worm of some kind.

Shrimp are very delicate, when they die fish and the CUC eats them, you won't find a body.
I found the whole body of my cleaner shrimp today when I got home from work. He's dead on his back.

That could be a molt, they look just like a dead shrimp for everything in the world...your CUC should have taken care of a whole body. But if it's dead...I'm very sorry bcause they are such likeable little critters.

I'm positive it is him and not the molt. I think he may have just died. I don't know what it could have been, perhaps the anemone tried to eat him (the skunk only hangs around my sebae). Oh well, tis the circle of life. I will probably get a pair of cleaners this weekend.

They are such delicate critters. I was moving and my two huge heathy cleaners looked just fine. As I was acclimating them to the new home one just turned over on its back and died, right there next to his companion as I watched.
My cleaner hang out by my anemone as well..they are eating it's food. The clowns have taken up a sentry so they have given it some distance now. So you think it got stung?

I don't know what happened. I know he was very active last night and this morning. It is just weird that he died. He molted 2 days ago. I would not be surprised if my nem tried to eat the shrimp.

um....so anyways, what would be eating the shrimp that doesnt leave molts behind, or pieces. Of my fish, only the clowns and PJs are "active" at night. Everyone else finds a hole and sleeps in it. The very first night scared the shizzle out of me when I saw the wrasse sleeping in the rock. I have since learned that dont jump to conclusions in this hobby. But again, what eats shrimp that doesnt molt? What kind of worm could I be looking for and how big? the skunk that is missing was about 2" in length. I want to get another one this weekend, but I am so leary now about buying any kind of shrimp for the tank. All other inverts, and I do mean all as I say my nassi snail that I havent seen in weeks last night, are doing fine and are showing no signs of any wrong doing or illness.

About once a month I feed my night critters a chunk of raw shrimp...just to watch the serpent stars come out. That is way more meat than what is on a skinny cleraner shrimp, even a 2 inch one. By the time the CUC is finished nothing is left. Which is a good thing and its their job. I have slugs, bristle worms, serpent stars, other shrimp and hermit crabs...what is on your CUC list? Also do you hav an anemone? I have had lots of critters get eaten by them.

I check where it sleeps and its not there. when the light comes on, it always came out. I have a glass cover over the tank so unless he can phase his body through glass, he should be in the tank. IF it managed to jump out of the tank, I dont any of the 3 cats would have a problem eating the fish.
Something is in my tank eating my livestock, now what the f*ck is it and how do i get it the f*ck out?!?!??!?!?!?!?!!??!!?!?
