ohh, I thoguth you said you might have a mantis or something.
That was a hypothetical statement. Right now, everything is alive and doing fine. One of the skunks molted last night and is out and about this morning so all is doing well I presume. This weekend we are thinking about getting 2 more additions to the tank. A royal gramma and an orchid dottyback. Anyone have objections to the additions of new fish?
edit:
Here are pics as promised. First up is the skunk shrimp. The little one wont stay still long enough for me to get its pic.

And this is the brittle star. I has since moved from this location and is burried under a rock.

I'm not 100% sure...BUT...I think there will be an issue between the dottyback and Gramma.....IIRC they will fight.

If thats the case, then why was it oked in the stock list thread? Great, now what?
IDK, I said I was not 100% sure......I do know the grammas and Basslets do not get along, and the dottyback is bassletlike.....if that makes any sense
I have a pseudochromis, and HAD a gramma.....I have no clue what happened to the gramma.....it was just gone one day, BUT I do know the 2 did not like each other

they should be fine, but must be added at the same time. I would recommend the ORA Purple Dottyback, they tend to be more peaceful, if you're concerned, but it shouldn't be an issue.

Mine were added at the same time
.....I guess it all depends
That it does. I mean, I had a clownfish and now a darn Sailfin tang that eat coral
so anything is possible

All I can get around here is ORA Orchids. This is going to be an interesting saturday. 2 fish get introduced that are my little girls favorites and the endless "curse you aqua scum"s will be flowing freely!

It's strange to hear people refer to Lady as "the dog" (and I don't mean that insultingly) only because she was so much more than that in my life. I think I kind of forgot she was canine. She was the best dog that has ever graced this world. And since I have met a good share of the dogs out there, I am pretty sure I can say that statement is 100% accurate. There are fabulous, wonderful, amazing dogs out there, but none like her. Somehow I was given the honor of being her person and I hoped to have proved worthy of it over the 14 years we were together. She was my girl and she took a piece of my heart with her when she left.
I had pictures done just this past July, just the two of us.

Great pics.....I'm really sorry again....for your loss
no one understands my relationship with my Meowzer....he is not a "cat" he is my companion, and stands by me no matter what. He knows when I am feeling bad, and is always by my side
LOL...the other morning I had to stay in bed 30 minutes longer cause he was so comfy sleeping on my arm

My husband does not usually care for cats......but even he admits Meowzer is special. I am very lucky to be owned by him...HAHA...he was born here too.

Meowzer....Well said, it really is a hard thing to understand until you have experienced such loyalty and companionship. May all of us who love animals be granted such a friend at least once in our lives.
MyLady, I’m so sorry for your loss. That picture is so awesome...both of you are smiling...

Will be going to the LFS to get both the gramma and the dottyback today. My daughter wants to go now but that would mean we would have to leave my son behind as he is still asleep. LOL I lover her eagerness.

1 bag of salt, ORA Orchid, and a royal gramma later the fish are home. Who would have thunk it would have been a $100 day at the LFS?

You have actually gone to the fish store and not spent $100.00? Wow, I heard folks like that existed but...

Online and a fish store are two different things. Online you see only what you look for, in a store it's all out there tempting you, sitting on a shelf for you to touch and read about how great it is...Oh didn't know the had this...kind of thing.
Even though I have NO LFS.....I have been to one before, SO I do know that.....and he few times I did get to go to the NOTSOLFS.....believe me I spent a bunch

I was trying to be silly but it didn't come out right...then I distracted before fixing it...when I went to reword things I got a blank screen. I HOPE THIS POSTS ths time!!!
SWF never has all the critters I want at the same time. Once our tanks have certain things and critters we have to start getting picky. SWF had owed me $40.00 on a refund that I haven't used for almost 5 months. So I know exactly what you mean by not being able to get the tally up. My silly remark was supposed to be about my not being able to exercise some discipline.
I’m sorry it all came out wrong and I hope I didn’t offend you.
