I have a great cannon video cam with great stills, but I'm still jealous

. Your going to be very happy with your new cam, check out how good of colors you get when you set your custom white balance to your lights

it will, but you can make it even better than the auto white balance, witch is pretty good on it's own.

I have a cannon Rebel 35mm film camera and I love mine and it takes amazing pictures also...

I just can't wait until I can take pics of my red mushrooms....and they are look red

my blue will be blue...green will be green etc etc
that and be able to get good close ups too

You don’t need to squeeze every bit of technology out of you camera all at once. Let the camera work for you in auto mode. You will get some great pics and experiment at you own pace

Thanks Joe.....Patience....hahaha...I am beginning to hate that word....this Italian girl does not have a lot of it....haha...yet I picked a hobby that needs a lot of it...and hopefully a camera that only needs a little

auto mode does not do well in DSLR, especially with aquarium lights. You can get crisp pics, but thats not the only thing you're gonna be looking for. Taking the time to understand and use manual mode will greatly help with true coloration. I will be writing a tutorial guide for taking pictures once my semester break starts, I'll let you know when its up.

OK...thanks.....time is one thing I have a lot of....LOL....patience..EH....but I definitely plan on trying out all it has to offer.....but I also plan on taking my time with it too
