for 1,500 you could get one of those japanese dwarf angels which are also very good to look at. they are also probably 10 times hardier than that angle and don't have a very strict diet. they also stay small. just something for you to think about.

I considered one...but I do not know. The Japanese Pygmy is still in the game, but I like the personalities of the big ones more. Its an idea, but I will have to think about it, as I REALLY like the Clarion. We'll see...and thanks for the pic!

It could be up to a year or two, just because of how scarcely they come in, but I'm keepin my eyes peeled...but when I see one, I gotta JUMP ON IT.

as emperor11 stated above for the the diet of the clarian this diet also goes for all angels not just the super expencive ones.its nice to see someone that does there research about this subject before buying a fish then feeding it improperly.i guesss if we all spent that kind of money on each fish we have i can almost garentee everyones fish would be fat happy and healthy.and substituting fish foods with fw fish foods to save a couple bucks on foods. sorry but over abundance of hobbiest using brine shrimp and fw feeders gets my goat.

I can't stand it either...I only feed brine shrimp twice a month as a treat, because my fish love it. FW feeders also drives me NUTS. I currently feed formula 1 and 2 frozen, formula 1 and 2 flake, prime reef frozen, mysis shrimp dipped in garlic/vitamins, algae sheets, brine OCCASIONALLY, krill, squid, you name it. You should see our freezer! And when I get the clarion, I will buy live sponge on occasion as a treat for it, and will also buy the angel formula which is made of 80% sponge, and other good things for it. And, thank you for your kind words.

Unleashed, I just noticed you're in Michigan as well as me!! Where abouts are you at? When I get this little bugger, you'll have to come see him in person. (if you want to..LOL)
