Yeah thats the cruiser model. Has a heat shield right? I still use buck shot loads since its nice knowing that all you have to do is point it in their general direction and you can make human swiss cheese.

Its the Walther P99. Nice looking gun and looks like it has good potential. I'd like to try it out myself. Feels good in your hands. I havent actually held the P99, but the P22 rather and its essentially the same handgun just chambered in .22 LR. Probably a fun plinking gun.

I see, now that I went back and read a few more threads. Walther has a reputation for quality, too.

Hey everyone should move to Texas, Did you see that now, if you shoot an unwelcome "guest" on your property there is a law going into effect where they can't even sue you in civil court!
Another funny thing, one of the members of the state leg that voted against the amendment for the castle doctrine. Actually shot an intruder earlier this year.
I understand these law enforcement officers on here saying people shouldn't have gun. On the premise that all people are stupid. And can't handle the responsibility of the weapon.
But at the same time (with responsible gun owners) gun control laws simply protect criminals and put law biding citizens in harms way.

I agree with your statment to a point. I do not feel that people should not be allowed to have a gun or protect themselves.
What i am against is the LAX CC laws in some states, where anyone can get a gun basically for any reason. THat is where you might have some problems.
I think it is great that they wont be able to sue in civil court. I will assume though that it has to be found a good shoot. Im not sure of the laws there. But i cant see the shoot being deemed bad (the guy should not have been shot) and then not be allowing to sue civil court

I do wonder about some people having weapons, but we let them drive and vote. And stupid people voting is way more dangerous. Just ask Germany about the the 30's.
I'm not sure about the true shot. Or the details of the rules, just that they can't be sued in civil court.

LOL.... i agree with the voting and stuff. But one person's vote will not likely do much of a difference, but a gun in the hand of a person may. Driving on the other hand is a total different discussion, we can start a thread on that, and i bet it will go on forever, IMO most people don't know the laws of the road, and IMO people should have to retake their driving test every set amount of years.

It is horrible. I don't know about in other states, but here in NJ the road test is in a parking lot basically. No other cars on the course. My opinion, drive in rush hour, that is where you know if you can drive. I go nuts. You have no idea... I stop people for driving in the left lane and i get the answer like "who said i cant drive in the left lane, or i am doing the speed limit, or other people should just drive the speed limit so i am helping control the speed" People drive me nut.
DRIVE IN THE RIGHT LANE UNLESS PASSING!!!!!!!!!!!

You NJ cops should send a memo across the country that you want to do a "Left Lane Month" where they crack down on idiots that ride in the left lane and talk on their phones, drive the speed limit or less, and otherwise do nothing productive at all.
This is a HUGE pet peeve of mine and causes traffic where there should otherwise be none. I think left lane riders are the building blocks of traffic jams and it would be a 12 point violation if it were up to me...

Wow, something that we agree on. LOL hahahah
It is the funniest thing. the Right Lane is supposed to be the slow lane but it is always EMPTY cause the MORONS are in the left lane!!!!

That has to be the most ignorant statement I've ever heard.

Not sure how you think that is ignorant. A single vote is not likely to turn an election, but a single shot out of a gun being carried by a person that should not have a CC permit can hurt someone. How is that ignorant.
It seems more ignorant of you to just make a statement like that.

But a bunch of people thinking that their vote doesn't matter does. Instead of thinking that way you should vote anyways. If you don't then you have no right to bitch when you don't like the way things are going. And what does a CC permit matter. Do you honestly think all the criminals out there have a CC permit? It's typically the law obiding ones that do and they are typically not the ones you will have to worry about. So yeah I think your orginally statement is ignorant.
