Spider, It would be cool if you were there, but with your inside info I think you would smoke us all.
Aqua, cool see you there.
If anyone wants to join and has problems or does not know how to pick their drivers, just ask me or PM me.
RU, I am counting on you joining up. We need someone who will come in last and not complain about it too much.

I didn't catch that, but I did see that they had Johnson and Gordon on the "A" list and Jr on the "B" list.

It was strange, but not without reason. Harvick had motor problems the whole race, Bowyer got dumped with a few to go
, Casey Mears and Jimmie crashed, and Gordon had suspension problems. Truex Jr., was up there with not too much left as well. I think Martin and Nemechek will have better races in the future.
I think we'll get Tony back in a Chevy next year, when his contract with Gibbs is up. I don't see him as a "Toyota" man.
Scott, I think you should start a seperate nascar fantasy thread?

Not if he starts winning races in that Toyo, and he's looking pretty solid so far.
Scotts, you are going to have to explain briefly how that thing works. I didn't read every page on there (there were alot of ads/groups/all kinds of stuff) when I signed up, but I have never played it before. I get the gist of it, but maybe you can recap to make sure.

I dunno about tony, gibbs has taken care of him. And Gibbs gives him a great car every week, and I think he and gibbs has the capability to compete with hendrix. Between Hamlin and Kyle Busch I mean that team has the potential to be the "big boys" and be an "allstar" team, like a Johnson, Gordon, Dale Jr. team. If not better. Who would he go to that would be a step up?

Very true about Gibbs. They take extremely good care of their drivers and employees. The only thing that doesn't click is Tony's temper and Gibbs employee policies. Gibbs is very religion oriented employer, which means that cursing and drinking doesn't jive with the *preferred* way of acting. If I remember correctly all employees need to sign a morality clause which states very clearly what you are allowed to and not allowed to do when you are wearing company gear.

Agree, so much so, that I really thought that Jr was headed there. Gibbs sure tried hard enough to get him.

Dunno. You're definitely right though that Gibbs has done Tony well, but from some of my sources (GM car forums) the decision was made over Tony's head to switch to Toyota. Chevrolet is a big part of Tony's sprint car stuff which is pretty close to him (Chevy has agreed to keep with Tony in his sprint cars). Tony's buddies Harvick and Junior will definitely remain with Chevy for as long as I could see. Definitely another good point about where he would go. Don't forget, Hendrick's has 4 cars
, not saying for Casey not to slack this season, but

As far as I know, Jr has a personal contract with GM, so when Gibbs decided to go with Toyota, they would have had a @#%@#% load of money to buy Jr out of his GM contract.
Don't quote me on that, but that is one of those things that I'm thinking is behind why Jr wasn't a really good candidate for Gibbs. It all boils down to $$

I could just see Jr.,Gordon,Johnson,Stewart hahahaha That would definatly be a allstar team.I think Martin and Truex got crashed with like 10 laps to go.
Also I don't know why you all knock toyota they are more american made now then your chevy and fords. Both are made in canada and mexico.Sooner or later their going to be change to expand the sport.I bet their going to be more manufacture trying after they see how toyota does.

Yeah, but they have to contract a team at some point. Down to 4 cars (I was speaking more long term) And I seriously doubt they have anomosity between the car builders, (come one it isn't like they get their parts from the same places anyways as demonstrated with the lifter coating problems they had this week). So If Tony wants to run Chevy's on his teams at different racing venues, I don't think that toyota has a serious problem with that. Other than they would like their name on more of Tony's stuff. and competition that way. But this is just my conjecture not really backed up by proof.

I've heard speculation about that too.
