ok ok... sooooo I took back the eel and bought a couple more mandarin's because for some reason they just keep on dying

I also decided against live rock because the plastic rocks with the fake corals look much cooler!

lol! Hey, your tank is fine with that many fish. Go to the LFS and get a ray and a baby shark and it will be one cool looking reef tank!!

DeMartini, can I ask you if you bought your ADA online or in a LFS? I was looking at the ADA tanks and only saw the manufacturers website and links to other forum threads, but never to buy one. Thanks!

I got mine at a LFS, but they are the main distributer in the U.S. You can buy their tanks online.

She may MAYBE want to add water?!?! I heard that it helps ensure the long term survival of your reef inhabitants.....?

hahaha yes water is important for the survival of reef critters.......but you dont need to buy that special expensive aquarium salt......table salt works fine

Well, I got my relacement lights today, but it had a bunch of little dents and scratches all over. I'm going to send it back too. I might try to get the same light from a diferent place or I might get a different pendant; maybe the pfo pendant.

Wow, that's quite the bummer. So the same place got in banged up lights both times?

I was looking at the ADA website and they have some good light... a little pricy though...
Have you considered those?

they do look really nice, but they are way too expensive.
