Wow, I would have thought it to be higher then that. What does it level out at?

I got to thinking and talked to the Guy that helped me wire it. It leveled at 4 and startup was just under 6 since the capacitors carry the load for lgnition. I'm running on a 15 amp breaker an it runs the Hood ballasts pumps heaters and everything with no problems.

I know the rule on MH bulbs is 6 months but does that apply for the t-5's also??
I noticed today that mine dont seem to pop like they used to, it has been about a year and a half

I thought it was one year on metal halide bulbs?
Even though T5's can go up to 18 months without a change, I personally change them at the one year mark. the actinics tend to loose spectrum quick, and the colors tend to go yellow at the one year mark. But, then again, that's just from my experience.

Thanks guys
Maybe it is a year, I thought I heard 6 months at one point or another. Either way I got some shopping to do I guess, might as well get em all 5 at the same time
