It doesn't matter. he's not gonna read anymore, so I guess it's just me now. lets forget about it....
On a more mature note, I got the overflow box sealed yesterday, and I just tested it to see if it would hold water, and It's all good

I found the camera, and I haven't even taken any pics of my new 29 yet, so I'll post some, and some pics of the corals that I plan on fragging asap in a second.....

These are some random polyps I bought at the lfs, can we say impulse buy ?

Some cool mushrooms I got on that piece of lr... I don't like mushrooms but I like these, Plan on fragging asap....

Green and pink fuzzy shroom I plan on splitting, It cam free with the biocube :)

Xenia. Enough said. Will be fragged for sure....

Colony of radioactives, will be fragging asap as well...

Sideshot of the frogspawn under poor lighting... huge. 4-5 heads... I don't want it al all, I'll be selling whole or fragging into smaller pieces for sale....

we'll use my camera from now on. its mucho bueno! and your so quick to buy corals, cause im there with you going, oooh, yes. get that one. and that one, and that one. and how bout a fish? :)

I set up the frag tank today. It was quite the hassle, without em there... but i did it.
:)
I know the stand is too small, but its the only one i have not in use. It'll work for now, till we get/build one





I didnt take any pictures after i put the lr in, but there is about 25-30lbs crammed into the 10g sump. We're putting the ls in soon. :)

Wow Happity I would be very afraid of the stresses put on the bottom and ends of the tank with what looks like 2 or so inches hanging over the ends of the stand.

Yes, It's VERY temporary, maybe we will be able to movie it today.....
It's a pretty flimsy tank, and I wouldn't want it to bend, break, crack, or come crashing down.... You think it would compensate enough if we were to just slide boards the length of the tank underneath it?

Yeah I think it would some but the tank manufacturers always tell you to support the tank all the way around, front back and sides. But if you are gonna move it today I hope it holds until then!!

Maybe better to get like 3/4 inch plywood the full size of the tank if you are gonna leave it there for very long.
I don't know just scares the bejeesus out of me having it hanging in mid air like that. Maybe I am being overly cautious but I don't think I am....

Phew! Now I can rest easy.(hee hee) Man the fuge is crammed full of rock. You gonna put any macro algae in the too? Not familiar with the test kit you are using. Do they all show good?
Is it time for the frags to go into their new home? What lighting will you use? Will you build any racks in there?
Inquiring minds need to know.............

That test kit that you are using has been known to show .25 ammonia even when it is zero. I suggest having a LFS run an ammonia test.

the closest lfs is 90 miles away... The test always shows 0 ammonia when i use the same test kit on my 8g.
We're making the eggcrate shelves tomorrow. Three levels. We're also putting chaeto in the overflow box, we could put it in the sump, but I dont want to put another light down there. We're taking up enough plugs already.
We're using 2 65 watt power compacts that were previously on Emily's 55.
And, we are fragging some things soooon! Emily has a hella lot of radioactive dragoneyes, and 5-6 heads of frogspawn. More zoos and ricordea are going to be available soon too.

We plan on doing the shelves soon, but no rush. We're going to our lfs tomorrow to see if there is anything that we like and that we think people might be interested in getting a frag of. We'll keep you updated

We went to the not-so-local lfs yesterday and got three mexican turbo snails for the frag tank, and a bunch of other stuff, too
