In truth, you are probably right in most cases. In experience I have seen times when someone complains of "undissolved salt" and when I get there it turns out to be precipitated Calcium carbonate and using cold water instead of warm water resolves the issue. At minimum, just wait until it's mixed before worrying about warming it up to temperature.
