Fish getting along

What is surface agitation? Hmmm really? I see like the water on top flow is mover constantly maybe you can't see it well from camera. What are my CUC survive rate with the nirites... probably at 5.0 ppm ._.

Surface agitation is the water movement at the top of the water level.....
Well I did not see very much in the video.....IDK what else it could be....what are we missing.....HMMMM

3 a day and few pellets at a time so it won't sink to the bottom of the tank. It was after i did the water change the fish started to aact up.

OK, I would highly recommend reducing the feedings to once a day or every other day. I would ditch the pellets and opt for frozen foods, and you can use the pellets as a weekly treat. Frozen food is more nutritious than the pellets. I think what may have happened is during the water change some uneaten food may have been stirred up causing the water quality issues. This tank is just 12 gallons and any shifts at all can be very detrimental to the inhabitants, since there is a smaller water volume.

First i fill a bucket with tap water and dechlorine it with prime. Then i set up a heater with a filter that was for a 5 gallon tank. Yes water movement were presented. Then wait a while for temp to even out to 77~78. Then i pour the instant ocean salt in it waited till next day took the salinity level of it and it was too high. So i took another bucket filled it with tape water and dechlorine it and etc. Had the temp same as the other bucket and transfer some water from the previous bucket to the other bucket mixing them up so the salinity would be lower. My salinity level is at 1.023 at temp of 77. Then i started the water change. I scooped out 1.5 gallon of water our since it was already low on water i just added the 3 gallon as a hold. After i took 1.5 gallon then i slowly you a container to place the new water in slowly which is 3 gallon. That about it.

If your tank is having water evaporate, then top it off daily with plain water no salt (if you insist on using tap water then it needs to be conditioned). Salt does not evaporate, so I would check the salinity of the tank to be sure. I would recommend switching to RO/DI water if you have the means to do so.

The things is... there isn't any grocery store near by anymore... they were all closed down for a physical therapy center...Anywas what the surivive rate for my cuc?

Umm, this is a dumb question but I am going to ask it any way. Where do you get your groceries? You can get it there. The CUC
. It could be fine. I would just keep a close eye on the water parameters.

Well... typically speaking... my family eats chinese carry out food everyday.. well i am azn but ya... carry out everyday ._. no home healthy food. Chinatown would be our grocery stores but i am sure they do not sell water. Well there is a target with a supermart inside i will check it out there. Second place would be walmart which a one hour drive if i had a car which i don't since i am still in my last year of high school. Sigh this is stressing me out. Fish are dying :< i have finals next weeks -pulls hair-

Ok after reading ever post. I guess is safe to say... When i did a remodeling of the rocks i probably stir aup a lot of stuff. sigh. I wish i had knew... but i was adding 5lbs rocks and i couldn't make space so i have rearrange the thing. Should i just end the clown fish now, because is suffering hanging to the top while losing all of is colo slowly turning right. Also i have a aiptasia spread. :/ sigh can the day get any better. I have one peppermint shrimp but her barely moving around anymore could be because of the water pharamter. sigh. What do you all think i should do? Let the clown fish die peacfully? Or should i just end is suffering. It

I posted the pharameter of the tank. I said the nitrites spiked about again. I tested the water today. What is w/c? and how can i get it setup? the best i have is the bucket that holds 3 gallon of water.

it was for all. Ph, nitrite, nitrate, and etc. I just did the testing today and it showed purple and is at 5.0 ppm and nitrate would be orange color. Ohhh.. how fast must the water change happen. He looks really dead at the moment He just being drift by the surface agitation. :< sigh. I feel really bad. I just killed one fish life. ._. well typically speak this my second fish that died. :/ well actually no the 3rd. The 1st fish i didn't acclimate it right at all... I was really off on that. Second fish died was being bully by the first fish or i didn't acclimate long it enough. Third fish just died probably because ammonia spiked up over night i believe. Since that can only explain why my nitrites is high at 5.0 ppm.
