More pictures of damage.
This is where the Bubble trap broke off.

This is the top center brace...broken

Another spot on the top brace broken

The broken Bubble trap

This is the side picture a little better view...it also shows the crack on the top brace, This is the return side of the sump That would be facing out of my stand.

This is the other side, you can also see the center brace in this shot.

If I took a hammer to this I don't think I could have done as much damage. This thing is so heavy duty and so well made, I can't believe what I'm looking at. You didn't insure it enough Shawn, it's worth 3Xs what you insured it for. I know you are and everyone else involved is as disappointed as I am..but you know what Shawn...I just love you for trying so hard. It really was beautiful. You also deserve a huge hug and a great big thank you.
Well guys, it didn't end well, but the love put into the project still comes through.

Flower I just got off the phone with them again... They should be contacting you, to set up a time to come out.... They aren't squirming out on this. I explained politely which isn't my nature that if need be I will post these pics everywhere to advise people to ship their stuff elsewhere.... That brought a little silence!!!

Yep on the last call I just made 20 minutes or so ago, I informed them I was an employee!!! The lady at the claim center Christy advised me to go to the local UPS store tomorrows and deman to talk with the manager. The lady at the UPS store got a little snippy when I called the 2nd time about all the damage. I refuse to take their sh$t for the money, time, and shipping costs.... I will hound them daily till resolved.

They packed, it's on the revisit they charged for peanuts and taping!!!!! Flower do not discard anything!!

I didn't, don't worry I stiill have the boxes full of peanuts...I lost maybe a few handfulls to the wind.
The sump when I opened the box, you see that plastic container, that is what I used to remove the top peanuts..I was upset and forgot to take a picture of the sump when I first opened the box. It too was centered and surrounded and packed full of peanuts.

OMG that soo sucks major donkey butt. I cannot believe that this happened. I thought that acrylic was a little more stronger than glass and a little more forgiving. But it certainly seems that this served as a bottom piece in the trucks and lots of other heavier boxes were on top.
As far as damage and UPs is concerned, when working back in Ohio we had to do a roll out of new PCs to 400 nursing homes at ~12 pcs per home. All i really remember was walking into work one day and seeing 1500 brand new Dells with monitors sitting in our storage area. We had to open each one and futz with the software to make it work for the nursing homes. We then had to ship them all out all over the country. Of those 1500 pcs and monitors, I think we had a problem with ~10 of them due to shipping damage.
If I may be so wierd, but, I am unemployed and have nothing better to do. Acrylic, if you make another setup, I will drive down there and pick it up and then deliver it myself. I figure it would be a good 2 day project for drive time and give me an escuse to go through ohio again. Maybe I would even stop in C-Bus to pay homage to the buckeyes and the shoe.

You could come down here and work for the best shipping company in the business!!!!!
I applied at the UPS hub here in town for the seasonal shipping stuff. you know the work i am refering to, take the crap off the line and load up the trailers, playing over sized tetris. I thought the interview went well. Its not like it takes a special person to load boxes onto a truck. I havent gotten a call back. My neighbor works there too, I will be asking him what he knows.
But seriously, it would be a what, 5 hour drive to you, and then about a 10 to 11 hour drive to flower. If I left at 5 am here and then left right away I would arrive just about the time flower was already at work, LOL.
